Off to Spain...

So our team is leaving today for Sevilla/Seville to lead an English camp (you have to watch the video in the prior post...I'm wondering "Do they really need us?").

We depart Atlanta at 6:30pm and arrive in Madrid in what will be the middle of the night for our bodies. We'll have a couple of hours to make it through Customs and on to our connecting flight. Pepe has told us it is HOT in his beautiful city. Fortunately, we've been prepared after the extreme heat in Atlanta.

Who are we? We are:
Julie Allen, our leader and Spanish teacher
Lynne Edmonds, an old pro at mission trips
Stephanie Johnston, whose family will be missing their mom and wife
Kelly Angell, another veteran of mission trips
(all 3 of them making Brown's Bridge Community Church proud)
Jason Ferrell, who's making not only his 1st mission trip, but his 1st trip overseas!
Myself, returning to Seville after being part of Team 1 last year

We are very excited and looking forward to what God wants to do through us and in us. This trip wasn't one on the list at the beginning of the year, but was added in the Spring and we trusted that everything would work out.

We'll be posting updates along the way so keep checking back. Maybe there will be a new edition of the guys there speaking English.

Adios,

Jeff L
